Is it ready for launch?
The final step of the testing cycle before launching your website, application, or system is user acceptance testing (UAT). By having business users interact with your product in the lead up to launch, you’ll be able to identify any last-minute tweaks that must be addressed.
While user acceptance testing seems straight forward, it’s important to have a plan in place and a strategy set out before putting your real-life testers to work. Our PLATO team can educate, guide, and train your internal testers and business users on the best approach for their testing, and how to identify and track any bugs they find along the way.
Our user acceptance testing methodology
Identify and educate stakeholders
Our team will work with you to figure out who will be most impacted by your software changes, and work with them to develop a plan to carry out their user acceptance testing.
Develop UAT strategy
Creating your UAT strategy involves determining the testing scope, outlining assumptions and dependencies, taking into account any potential issues or risks, and determining acceptance criteria.
In order to track all the great work being done by your team, we will develop documentation that could include scenarios, cheat sheets, reports, and defect templates.
Training and execution
We will train your internal stakeholders to become user acceptance testers and then work alongside them to answer any questions they may have along the way.
UAT wrap up
A UAT test report that includes lessons learned from the project will be developed and shared with you.
