Exploring and dealing with a range of topics from health and art to renewable energy and technological innovation, The Walrus Talks is a series of events that takes place throughout Canada to understand the country’s place in the world.
On Thursday, October 26, The Walrus Talks held a Social Impact event in Halifax and invited PQA’s very own Keith McIntosh, Founder and Co-CEO, to talk about PQA’s sister company that he founded almost two years ago: PLATO Testing.
The presentation, titled “Give Work, Change Lives”, explained the inspiration and motivation behind PLATO Testing. More importantly, Keith talked about how corporate Canada can make a difference and begin to address the Truth and Reconciliation Call to Action and how creating real job opportunities for marginalized groups of people can help provide them with more dignity and pride.
